The Occupy movement is an international progressive, social manifest against the lack of "real democracy".

The innovative, creative and apartheid movement Occupy Guguță appeared right away when the court cancelled the 52% of votes that elected the mayor of Chișinău on 3 July. Therefore on 26 August there was organised a protest, where the Occupy Guguță movement performed the Rhythm of Resistance. They declared a permanent protest and claim to fight against the system. The authorities respond to their lack of ignorance: for ex. by bringing down permanent protest objects in the central park. But Guguțenii still have cardboards, will and means to inform and engage the society to be responsible, active citizens (for ex. by blogging, writing&sharing free newspapers, organising events, writing songs and designing protest clothing). The fundraising campaign brought almost 7 000$, which underlines the social support for the movement.

They want to validate the election of the mayor Năstase, cancel the mixed electoral system and recover the historical "Guguta" Restaurant into public property.
According to them, one day Moldova will be independent.
